I Profile

Qualified in medicine.
Chose to build instead.

Dr. Albin Jose trained as a physician in Tbilisi and never entered practice. He stayed and built companies instead — seven of them, operating across eight countries, all run from the city where he studied.

His test for a new venture is a narrow one. “Solve real problems,” he told Entrepreneur Georgia, rather than chase trends — and close the gap between a premium experience and what an ordinary person can actually afford.

III Vision & mission

Vision

To become one of the most trusted multinational business groups connecting Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia and the Indian subcontinent — through innovation, quality and sustainable growth.

Mission

To build internationally recognised businesses that deliver exceptional customer experiences, while creating meaningful opportunities for people, partners and communities through innovation, integrity and operational excellence.

IV The build

One company at a time.

2020

MedVenture Holdings founded

Travo International launches as the first company — inbound tourism into Georgia, built from Gulf and South Asian markets he already understood. The group grows from that single initiative.

2021

MedWizard Education

Students were already coming to Georgia for medicine, badly served. MedWizard took over admissions, relocation and everything after arrival.

2023

Medventa Residences

Those students needed somewhere to live that a family would agree to. Three four-star properties in Saburtalo, women only.

2024

Meloc, M’s Kitchen and Mevora

Three in one year. A smart-lock brand Georgia could call its own, a kitchen feeding the residences the group had just filled, and a hospitality arm built on what Medventa had learned.

2025

On the record

Entrepreneur Georgia profiles the group in October, with Meloc as the headline: the country’s first homegrown smart lock brand.

2026

MV Drive

The seventh company opens a China–Georgia vehicle corridor. A Georgian assembly unit for Meloc enters development the same year.

2027

The target

$10M+ group valuation, with Tbilisi held as the permanent headquarters of a multi-country group.

V Doctrine

Three rules the group is built on.

01

Create the category.

Meloc and Medventa did not enter markets. Each built one that did not exist in Georgia before it — a branded smart-living industry, and premium safety-led student housing. Arriving first is the position; everything else is defence.

02

Georgia outward.

Baku and Tashkent were opened from Tbilisi and are still managed from Tbilisi. The staff, the leases and the supply relationships sit in Georgia, and so do the decisions about them.

03

Own the chain.

A student recruited by MedWizard lives in a Medventa residence and eats at M’s Kitchen. One relationship, won once, served by several companies for years. The ventures are not a portfolio — they are a system.

VIII Market creation

Georgia had no smart home market. Meloc created one.

Before Meloc the category was fragmented, import-dependent and carried no local name. It now sells through its own showrooms in Georgia and into Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. A Georgian assembly unit is in development — which would make it the first smart home product actually built in the country.
